At Barcelona Collective we make shoes that we all want to wear: smart, unique, and capable.

Quality materials make a heel feel great and it requires architectural vision and an artisan's touch to get it right.

Our Barcelona Collective team builds every model by hand, combing traditional methods with innovative materials. The result? Our flats and heels are flexible, lightweight and durable enough for machine washing.

Behind the scenes, ratios also play a crucial role. We design the internal architecture to distribute your weight across the full structure of your foot, reducing the impact on your joints as you take each step.

We partner with family-owned ateliers to create our collections that have mastered their craft. Each small batch sees innovative materials combines with techniques that have been honed over generations by our artisans.

Up to three generations of the same family can be found together in the workshops on any given day. The other artisans work on long-tern contracts that guarantee a solid living wage and benefits.

We work side by side with the artisans and take a hands-on approach to creation; you can find us in the workshops and tanneries alongside the artisans nearly every day.
